The Adolescent Addiction Access Program (AAA) is a provider-to-provider consultation helpline for Indiana providers caring for youth (aged 17 or younger) with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). IU School of Medicine faculty providers – including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers – are available for timely consultations on evidence-based clinical management of SUD in youth. Referral assistance is also available. Additionally, the AAA team can provide direct virtual or in-person outpatient clinical services (assessment, medication management, psychotherapy, case management) for youth with SUD, when indicated. This program is funded by a grant from SAMHSA and implemented through the IU School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. The AAA program also provides access to comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, outpatient psychotherapy, medication management and case management when needed. These direct clinical services are subject to standard billing practices through our clinic. Provider-to-provider consultations, however, are available at no cost. Email to aaaprog@iupui.edu
