Hendricks Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient acute crisis intervention for ages 13 to 17. We provide inpatient for mental health for ages 13 to 17. Our adult inpatient program is split up by two separate units. One unit manages individuals with higher needs such as psychosis, mania and schizophrenia. The other adult unit manages suicidal thoughts, attempts, self-harm behaviors, anxiety depression and detox services. We offer Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for adolescents ages 13 to 17 as well as adults. We offer primary mental health and dual diagnosis with primary mental health and addictions. Our IOP may be attended in person or virtually and is offered for 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. Strive Day School for adolescents 13 to 17 who may need the addition of a school program while in our Intensive Outpatient Program. Strive Day School operates year-round and offers 3 hours of classroom education, 3 hours of Intensive Outpatient Programming, and additional recreational therapies such as art, music, pet, and health and nutrition. We offer free 24 hour assessments to determine level of care.

We offer the following other services: Adult inpatient detox services, adolescent and adult and adolescent dual diagnosis intensive outpatient services.

Unfortunately we are not able to serve: Parent with Accompanying Child(ren); Sex Offenders; Individuals with Certain Medical Conditions; Other- Exclusionary criteria would be complex or higher medical needs, use of continuous oxygen, needing IV treatments, low IQ, unable to complete ADLs.
