Pathway helps homeless individuals overcome addictive and mental disorders to become stable, financially self-sufficient and permanently housed. This is accomplished by providing three phases of substance-free, income-based recovery housing to nearly 100 participants. The entry level program “Pathway-1”, has a minimum six month stay and provides structure and support to 24-men. Successful discharge criteria is defined as: Substance-free (from drugs/alcohol), Mentally Stable (compliance with goal plan) and Self-sufficient (gainfully employed and paying rent). By providing peer-driven, community-based, substance-free housing and simultaneously addressing both addictive and mental disorders, participants can build strong foundations to sustain long term recovery, prepare for healthy independent living and placement in permanent housing.
