(MRCI "mercy") is a peer-led healing community of individuals and businesses working together to provide no cost recovery (addiction, mental health, & trauma) support programs and services to Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) throughout the state of Indiana. Trained and certified as Peer Professionals, our staff assist BIPOC looking to heal from addiction, mental health challenges, trauma, and other circumstances that negatively affect one's quality of life. We believe in the power of self-accountability and peer support to promote intrinsic healing. Based in Indianapolis, IN, our collective provides the following peer-based recovery support services in Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam, Rush, and Shelby counties: one-on-one peer counseling; support groups; peer education; resource access/navigation assistance (connecting persons served to other services in the community for a more comprehensive approach).
