Services Description: Through the RRC, PACE provides a pathway to positive, productive living most often against daunting doubts that often leave participants feeling worthless and hopeless. This shame and self-doubt can lead them to recidivate, and repeat offenders lose hope with each incarceration. Our services include: •Peer recovery coaching: Certified peer recovery coaches bring the lived experience of recovery, combined with the training and supervision, to assist others in initiating and maintaining recovery. •Substance abuse assessments: Clinical assessments are provided by a certified substance-abuse counselor, as needed, to determine a treatment plan. Counselors evaluate the severity of substance use and abuse, prioritize treatment needs, and refer persons to the most appropriate treatment provider. •Recovery community center: The Recovery Community Center is a recovery-oriented safe-haven that allows individuals to build recovery capital through peer mentoring; gives a face to recovery; and allows for an opportunity for education on successful recovery. •Telephone recovery coaching support line: A telephone support line is staffed by certified PRC's to assess, make appropriate referrals, and engage the individual in recovery services to embrace a holistic approach of building recovery.
