Services Description: More Hoosiers now die from drug overdoses than car accidents, and alcohol abuse deaths have climbed steadily since 2000. Aware Recovery Care hopes to reverse these trends and do so in partnership with Anthem by employing an entirely new approach to addiction care - in-home addiction treatment. For individuals trying to come to terms with a problem with alcohol and other drugs, Aware Recovery Care can help them recover where they live. We invented 'In-Home Addiction Treatment' (IHATTM) to help people learn to live in recovery no matter where they live and no matter what kind of work they do. We will meet clients anywhere and at a time that works for them to help clients find their pathway to recovery. After all, the whole point of recovery is to live the life they were meant to live. Aware Recovery Care takes a team approach to in home addiction treatment utilizing a highly skilled team of care coordinators, certified recovery advisors and family education facilitators, recognizing that SUD is a family illness as well as an individual illness.
